Following the success of their landmark national collaboration, digital art platform Sedition and oOh!media have renewed their partnership, continuing to bring world-class digital art into public spaces across Australia.
During its inaugural year, the programme transformed oOh!’s premium digital screens across rail stations, universities, office buildings and retail precincts into public canvases, bringing curated digital artworks to millions of Australians each month.
The unexpected placement of art within everyday environments generated a strong organic response, with audiences regularly photographing and sharing the artworks they encountered across the country.
By placing significant contemporary art within everyday environments without requiring a ticket or admission fee, the partnership responds directly to both Australia’s growing appetite for cultural experiences and the continuing need to make art more accessible.
Leading the next chapter is acclaimed British contemporary artist Mat Collishaw.
A defining figure of the influential Young British Artists generation, Collishaw is internationally recognised for a practice spanning photography, moving image, sculpture, optical illusion and immersive technology. His work examines the power of images to shape attention, memory and perception, making it particularly resonant within the digital Out of Home environment.
Collishaw also has an established connection with Australian audiences. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia in Sydney, MONA in Tasmania and Greenaway Art Gallery in South Australia, and is held within MONA’s collection.

“As part of an Australian-owned group, we are incredibly proud to bring some of the world’s most compelling digital art home to Australian audiences. This next chapter allows us to build on that momentum, introduce fresh art every month and give artists of Mat Collishaw’s calibre a public platform at a scale rarely available in contemporary art,” said Dyl Blaquiere, CEO of Sedition.
“The success of our partnership with Sedition demonstrates the power of our national network to bring culture into public spaces and create meaningful connections between audiences, brands and artists,” said Richard Moore, Head of Product Innovation & Delivery, oOh!media.
“We look forward to continuing this partnership, with new contemporary art collections appearing every month to create moments of discovery and bring exceptional art into the everyday journeys of millions of Australians.”
The latest programme will present ongoing curations, allowing the screens to evolve continuously rather than function as a static exhibition. The series will launch with a diverse line-up of Australian and international artists, including Mat Collishaw, Yoko Ono, Nick Fudge, Darryl Rogers, SARES, and M.O.N.O.M.O, followed by further established names and emerging digital artists from across Sedition’s global catalogue.
Together, Sedition and oOh!media are continuing to redefine how contemporary art can be discovered – moving it beyond traditional gallery walls and into the shared spaces of everyday Australian life.
