oOh!media today announces Yaala Sparkling as the winner of the 2026 oOh!media Indigenous Business Grant, reinforcing its commitment to making Indigenous Business ‘Unmissable’ across Australia.
Yaala Sparkling is an Indigenous-owned beverage business producing premium non-alcoholic sparkling waters infused with native Australian botanicals. The range includes distinctive flavour combinations such as Lemon Myrtle & Native Blossom, Davidson Plum & Waratah, Desert Lime & River Mint, and Quandong & Native Ginger. The beverages are sugar-free, low-calorie and free from artificial colours and preservatives, combining contemporary product design with Indigenous cultural knowledge and storytelling.
The selection panel recognised Yaala Sparkling’s strong brand positioning, disciplined growth strategy and expanding national footprint. The panel also acknowledged the way the business works with Indigenous wild harvesters and local farmers to source native ingredients and bring authentic Australian flavours to market, addressing under-representation of First Nations businesses in the native food supply chain and creating pathways for greater Indigenous participation and economic benefit.
As the 2026 grant recipient, Yaala Sparkling will receive a tailored Out of Home media campaign and strategic support designed to elevate brand visibility, reach new audiences and accelerate national recognition.
Yaala Sparkling CEO and Founder Tara Croker said:
“Australia is home to some of the world’s most incredible plants, growing right here in our own backyard, and Yaala Sparkling was born from a desire to share those native flavours with everyone, in a drink that’s easy to enjoy every day. This opportunity means more Australians get to connect with these plants, discover the authentic flavours of this land, and feel proud of our local cuisine”
The oOh!media Indigenous Business Grant provides meaningful media exposure and platform access to high-potential Indigenous enterprises, ensuring Indigenous-led businesses command attention, credibility and commercial opportunity in the mainstream market.
Andrew Every, oOh!media Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, said:
“Yaala Sparkling reflects the strength, innovation and commercial ambition of Indigenous entrepreneurship in Australia. Through this grant, we are amplifying that ambition and making Indigenous Business Unmissable on a national stage.”
Following continued strong interest and significant numbers of applications from a range of businesses in 2026, oOh! will be opening entries for the 2027 Indigenous Business Grant in December.
