Earlier this month, we announced the appointment of highly experienced media executive, Paul Sigaloff, to the newly created role of Chief Revenue and Growth Officer.

In a recent interview, CEO Cathy O’Connor discussed Paul’s appointment and how his leadership and expertise in digital transformation will help oOh! achieve its strategy of a digital-first future in Out of Home.

As a forward-thinking company, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and are committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends and developments. We are delighted to welcome Paul to our team on May 15 and look forward to the valuable contributions he will bring.

Cathy, what was the driving force behind restructuring oOh!’s Executive Leadership Team?
The Out of Home industry is experiencing significant growth in the digital media landscape and at oOh! we are committed to leading the industry toward a digital-first future. To achieve this goal, we need to gain a better understanding of the external digital marketplace, and to do this we need to have a deeper level of digital expertise within our Executive Leadership Team. As a result, I have restructured our leadership team and added Paul Sigaloff to the role of Chief Revenue and Growth Officer. Paul brings with him extensive digital leadership experience and expertise in digital transformation, which will enable us to better execute our digital-first strategy and drive growth in this area.

How will this change impact the rest of the business?
Reporting to me as the CEO, the new role of Chief Revenue and Growth Officer brings together the leadership of all sales and revenue operations. Paul will also oversee the product and connected platform strategy to ensure that we work together and continue to develop technology and processes that are in line with the market’s needs.

How will the appointment of a Chief Revenue and Growth Officer impact oOh!’s relationships with agencies and marketers?
Paul brings with him a wealth of experience in digital leadership and transformation, which will enable us to better understand and navigate the evolving digital landscape.

By having Paul’s digital expertise, we will be better equipped to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients in this digital age. This will result in stronger and more trusting relationships with our agency and marketing partners and provide new pathways into digital agencies that currently aren’t serviced by oOh! Through Paul’s guidance will find new ways to work externally to drive growth and success in a landscape that’s exciting and innovative.

What role do you see data and technology playing in the future of the business?
The role of data and technology in the future of Out of Home can’t be overstated. As the industry continues to shift towards digital solutions, we recognise the need to stay ahead of the curve and embrace new technologies and data-driven approaches. We see data and technology as key enablers for us to provide more effective and targeted advertising solutions for our clients, resulting in better superior ROI. By leveraging this we can also gain greater insights into consumer behaviour and use this information to deliver more relevant and engaging content and campaigns.

One final question, how do you envisage the role of the Chief Revenue and Growth Officer contributing to the long-term success of oOh!?
As I look to the future of the company, I recognise that for us to grow and thrive, we need to prioritise revenue and growth initiatives. That’s why I’ve created this new role and I’m looking forward to welcoming Paul Sigaloff to the team on May 15.

I believe that Paul’s expertise in developing successful growth strategies as Head of APAC for Yahoo and General Manager of Digital at Fairfax will be valuable as we navigate oOh!’s digital journey. Having transformed a variety of media businesses Paul’s experience will be invaluable in a future where increasing automation and digitisation is driving the way we transact and work with our clients and as we seek to accelerate our growth in Out of Home.
