oOh!media has unveiled its new Beaches Network, opening up unparalleled advertising access across Australia’s popular coastal destinations. The network was launched to more than 200 brands, agencies and partners at an event held at Sydney’s iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar on Bondi Beach.
Spanning more than 100 iconic coastal locations from Sydney’s Bondi and Palm Beach to Glenelg in South Australia, Melbourne’s vibrant St Kilda, Brisbane’s family-friendly Suttons, and Perth’s Cottesloe, oOh!’s Beaches Network delivers unparalleled scale, visibility, and impact throughout the summer months.
Bondi Beach, recently named among Tripadvisor’s Top 25 beaches globally for 2025, attracts up to 50,000 visitors a day during the warmer months. Meanwhile, Perth’s Cottesloe Beach continues to be a major drawcard, welcoming more than 600,000 visitors annually.
With nearly 80% of Australians living within 50 kilometres of the coast, hanging out at the beach is central to the nation’s lifestyle, giving advertisers unrivalled opportunities to connect when people are most social, active and engaged.
Mark Fairhurst, oOh!’s Chief Revenue Officer, said: ““Bondi sets the benchmark for coastal engagement, making it the ideal launchpad for our Beaches Network. With coverage now extending across Waverley Council and the Northern Beaches, we’re unlocking premium access to Australia’s summer economy, when Aussies are out and about, catching up with friends, and spending $166 billion*. With over 800 sites within one kilometre of the coast and more than 2,200 within two kilometres, we’re giving brands unmatched reach to tap into that momentum.”
In 2024, oOh! secured two long-term street furniture contracts across Sydney’s premium coastal suburbs. In Waverley, covering Bondi, Bronte and Rose Bay, a fully digital rollout is underway, including a suite of sustainable ‘Living Roof’ bus shelters and a new special build site at Campbell Parade and Hall Street.
On the Northern Beaches, oOh!’s upgraded street furniture contract stretches from Manly to Palm Beach, with digital upgrades at key sites such as Manly Corso and Manly Beach, connecting brands directly with audiences in the heart of Sydney’s coastal lifestyle.
With spending across top coastal destinations rising by $76 million* last summer, oOh!’s Beaches Network captures both the spirit and scale of the Australian summer, giving advertisers the chance to be part of the moments that matter.
