oOh!media extends Eastern Sydney reach with launch of Waverley Council network

oOh!media today announces the launch of the Waverley Council Street furniture network after the conversion of all former classic sites into a 100% fully digital offering.

Among the 106 digital advertising faces, oOh! has introduced 16 new premium consecutives, as well as three unique digital special-build locations at Bondi Junction and along Campbell Parade at Hall Street and Curlewis Street. These locations provide advertisers with 100% share of time opportunities, creating environments where brands can dominate and stand out.

With state-of-the-art LED digital screens, brands have the flexibility to deliver dynamic creative, respond in real time and connect with audiences in more impactful ways across Sydney’s iconic beach precinct this summer.

Waverley’s Street Furniture is distinguished by its combination of sustainability and innovation, integrating renewable energy with practical community features. This includes nearly 30 shelters with ‘Living Roofs’ containing plants to reduce heat, improve air quality, and enhance biodiversity. Twenty-three shelters have been equipped with phone charging stations, and three feature battery-hybrid systems to further reduce carbon emissions.

Robbie Dery, Chief Commercial Operating Officer, oOh! said, “Upgrading to a fully digital network with sustainable features shows how innovation can make public spaces better while delivering real value and impact for brands. Waverley is one of Sydney’s most vibrant areas, with Bondi Beach alone attracting up to 50,000 people a day over summer. Living roofs, renewable power, and hybrid shelters create engaging, high-quality environments and give brands a way to connect with locals and visitors through one of Australia’s most advanced Out of Home networks.”

With 151 new Out of Home panels across Waverley and Woollahra added to its portfolio, oOh! offers unrivalled scale and coverage across Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.

Combined with the award-winning Sydney Metro and Martin Place Retail Precinct, the expansion gives brands extensive, high-quality digital reach across Sydney and the ability to capitalise on peak summer audiences in some of the city’s most vibrant and visited locations.

oOh! last month announced the launch of the Beaches Network, opening up advertising access across Australia’s popular coastal destinations, spanning more than 100 iconic coastal locations from Sydney’s Bondi and Palm Beach to Melbourne’s vibrant St Kilda, Brisbane’s family-friendly Suttons, Glenelg in South Australia and Perth’s Cottesloe.
