oOh!media hits a six with new Cricket Australia Out of Home collaboration

Out of Home advertising partnership with Cricket Australia, on digital retail screen

oOh!media has signed an agreement with Cricket Australia to deliver news, highlights and scores across 6 of its Out of Home environments for the 2025-26 NRMA Insurance Men’s Ashes Series.

From November 21, oOh! is giving brands a powerful way to connect with millions of fans during the biggest sporting event of the summer. across its Airport, Billboard, Retail, Street, Rail, and Office digital network, taking the energy of the stadiums to Australians wherever they are.

Mark Fairhurst, Chief Revenue Officer at oOh!, said: “Cricket is one of Australia’s favourite summer rituals, and last year’s Boxing Day Test drew a massive crowd of more than 370,000 across the five days to the MCG. Those fans spill into streets, bars, restaurants, and retail spaces, right where our Out of Home assets are. For brands, it’s an unrivalled opportunity to be part of the action and connect with audiences through engaging content that captures the moment.”

The 2025-26 Ashes Series is already breaking records, with over 308,000 tickets snapped up on the first day of pre-sale, nearly triple the previous record set eight years ago. With ticket allocations exhausted at various matches and a soaring demand, the series is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Ashes ever.

Teresa Basile, Cricket Australia Head of Brand & Marketing: “The Ashes is more than a summer sporting event, it’s a rivalry that captures the attention of fans across Australia and around the world. With record-breaking ticket sales, the passion is undeniable. This collaboration helps us take that energy beyond the stadium, reaching fans in their everyday lives and giving brands a powerful way to be part of the experience.”

The Ashes series begins at Perth Stadium from November 21–25, then moves to The Gabba for a day-night Test, Adelaide Oval for the Christmas Test, Melbourne for the iconic Boxing Day Test, and Sydney’s Pink Test, concluding on January 8.
